    For a few months now, a title has made us members of this platform selected for a 6-month mandate, not only very respectable and highly honored people in our communities but also heroes, leaders worthy of the name. As you can imagine, it is obviously our fabulous, wonderful, full of opportunities and enriching platform TUNZA Ecogeneration and the title E-gen Regional Ambassador which I personally rejoice every day that God does because this title allows me day by day to be more informed and to have many more experiences in addition to the little one I already have. So in order to perpetuate these good practices and actions, my team Tunza and I organized this week a meeting with the delegates of differents academics associations to inform them and aware them with what it is TUNZA Ecogeneration and invite them to follow my steps and that of my predecessors. Last Tuesday, December 6, from 9:00 am to noon, a meeting was held at the University Catholic University Center (CCU) at the University of Lome between the E-gen TOGO team and representatives of various associations, NGOs University students such as IDEAS for Campus, JVE NGO, CCU Club, IAAS -UL, Red Cross Campus, Mathematics Students' Association etc., or some faculties such as the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Law. The agenda for the meeting was: 1-The climatic situation in TOGO. 2-Climate change 3-Solutions to save the planet 4-The Tunza Ecogeneration platform 5-Miscellaneous. Points 1, 2 and 3, which were presented by Mr TAKPAH-KOFFI Hyacinthe, the main member of my team caused to my amazement, a formidable debate and a great enthusiasm on the part of the participants of the meeting proved by their interventions that they are aware of the climate situation at national and global level and their desire to really commit themselves to save the planet by proposing very interesting solutions to save differents environnemental issues. Then, it was my turn to present the Tunza Ecogeneration platform, the various programs and opportunities, as you already know, that it offers young people committed to the environmental cause as well as life-giving, unforgettable experiences and contacts between ambassadors which it allows to acquire. Basically, it was a great achievement with everyone's satisfaction rating with one. The participants returned to their respective origins, promising to relay what they learned to their respective associations. After having asked to integrate the E-GEN team that already exists at our level, they also made a recommendation to Tunza Ecogeneration which is to make itself known and intensify its good initiatives for the well-being of the Togolese with choosing not just one but several ambassadors if possible in every region of our country. |
