When hard work follows success, Can you imagine the moment like? Probably, everyone here has been though such experience. Lets get into the story.....

Enterprising actually sounds tough and hard but it?s the better way to express you in the crowd of people. Everyone have idea but to present the idea differently than others is what counts. Here I am not talking about only enterprising but actually Green enterprising.  Nepal Entrepreneurs Hub, Startup Weekend Kathmandu jointly organized this program in support of WWF Nepal, Finland Ministry.

Started with Orientation Program on 1st Day, participants (I) got broad view of Green. In summary Green is more than a color. Chances and challenges of green enterprise in Nepal was good session.

More on 1st Day follow this link: 1st Day Program

2nd Day began with Design Thinking and we were asked to think about gift companion gave last time and design it. This sessions clarifies how deep one can think on anything either it is single word, gift, moment or else.

On 3rd day, we were given basics of Marketing, Green Business, Business Canvas Model, and Value Proposition. With end of presentation, participants (We) were asked to prepare Value Proposition, Business Canvas Model and Pitch it on any given three ideas: Biodegradable Gum, Carpooling Apps and Green Bar. 10 Teams were formed based on the registration number.

Thinking most participants will go through Biodegradable Gum, we went though Green Bar. At the end 8 out of 10 teams were with Green Bar, each with others. 4 best team were awarded at the end. My Green Bar: THIS GENERATION GREEN BAR has facilities like refunding on wastage, biodegradable materials to be used, safe, natural place.

With all these finally we were on Startup Weekend that started with idea pitching. Almost all 51 participants pitched their idea as Anurag Maloo facilitated it. 12 best ideas were selected among these 51 by self-voting from the participants. Each participant can vote 3 ideas expect his or her own. After Dinner, we were with 10+2 ideas that are pitching on final day for 5 minutes.

Selected 12 ideas were :

On 2nd and 3rd Day of Startup Weekend, Teams were given time to prepare presentation along with mentoring. Mentors from different field were there to facilitate us and mature our ideas and every aspects of final presentation. So these 2 days were rush hours for us where we need to develop prototype of our business that must be viable.

Finally, on 7th Day we were at Hotel Annapurna for Award Gala and Final Presentation. Presenting our ideas in front of judges, mass, organizers, participants is one part and we need to convince our prototype really rocks the market is another part. Though winning is another part, But since beginning I am taking it as experience.

Coming together is a beginning keeping together is progress working together is success. And these 10 days long Greenovation Startup Challenge brought us together, kept us together for the way of success.
