Environmental destruction and climate change are two such global issues that everyone should be aware of, not just the youth and the adults. Young children should learn about the issues faced by our planet because they will become the leaders of tomorrow.

And learning about these issues from a young age will help them to develop a passion for these issues and thus help them to become Eco-leaders when they grow up. 

Teaching environmental harm and climate change to children is quite a challenge because these two are complex issues which are difficult to completely grasp at a young age

Keeping this challenge in mind, Debi Gliori, a writer, published a book to educate children about the environmental destruction of the world. Although now many writers have started publishing environmental books for children, but the "Trouble with Dragons" is by far the best book I came across.

The best part about the book is that it communicates these issues through a fun and interesting story. I bought this book for young cousin and she said she loved the book. My cousin also said that when she grows up she wants to do something to protect our planet.

This book is a great example of how simple story books can empower and inform young children to protect our environment. I really hope more writers can come up with such brilliant book and inspire more children.
