Before The Flood

In my previous articles few months back, I wrote about  <Celebrity and Climate Change>. There I mentioned notable celebrities who are using their popularity to influence for a cause exclusively on ?Climate Change and Environment?. While my firm belief and affirmative thoughts on endorsing celebrity for such cause have not shaken an inch, I am elated to see one of my favorite star now has come up with a documentary ?Before the Flood?. The celebrity is well known to all ambassador hopefully and is none other than Leonardo Dicaprio.

When for the first I heard about him being fully committed for the climate change. My happiness could never be stopped. Similarly, his Climate Change speech on Oscar that created buzz around the world ushered great enthusiasm to my already environmentalist mind. Now with his team Stevens, James Packer, Brett Ratner, Trevor Davidoski, and Jennifer Davisson Killoran as producer, Martin Scorsese as an executive producer and under the direction of Fisher Steven, Leonardo Dicaprio has come up with ?Before the Flood? documentary.

The film mostly centers around the visiting of various places of globe by Leonardo Dicaprio where he observes various man made changes made, he also narrates on various archive footages and many more. Some part of the documentary also have some portion of production of The Revenant, same movie which he referred during his Oscar movie. As a mandatory promises by National Geographic, film is being shown freely at different times and platform.

Film has been received very positively with rotten tomato giving 65 per cent approval. The flim has already received award from Hollywood Film Award under the category ?Hollywood documentary Award?

Its undoubtedly a must watch movie. Dear Eco warrior friends, I strongly urge you to show the movie to you all those friends and inculcate the environmentalism in all. Time for action and some fun.
