April Free Report-Earth Day

Every year on April 22 earth day is celebrated to raise awareness about the protection of earth natural resources for the future. The main purpose of Earth Day is to take action to protect the Earth.

We can contribute to the protection of the earth¡¯s natural resources by following activities

Collect the trash

When going outside carry a trash bag and clean up the plastic and recycle and reuse it if you can.

Plant a tree

Planting a tree can contribute to carbon storage, contribute to agriculture, support pollinator, boost the local people¡¯s economy, provide shade when we need it, reduction in natural disasters like floods. So we can plant a tree in public spaces and bare land for future generations.

Promote wildflowers and native plants

Wildflowers and individual species contribute to better pollination and pest control by attracting beneficial insects. Plant a native plant in our garden each year for attracting beneficial insects and improve the quality of flowers.

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle

We can care for nature by being less wasteful. To reduce waste we can buy local vegetables to reduce waste and buy in large amounts to cut plastic pollution. Carry an eco-friendly bag when going shopping.

Stop pesticides and chemicals in the garden

Using pesticides and chemicals in agriculture land and garden contribute to the reduction in soil fertility and contribute to water pollution and air pollution.

Conserve water

Water is a non-recycling source so we should conserve water by wisely using them.  Collection of rainwater during the rainy season for plants.

Reduction in food waste

We young people should be aware of the protection of earth¡¯s natural resources for the future generation
