Do you think that we can utilize waste to make dishwashing liquid? Such a weird idea was actually realized in Vietnam. A woman, named Trinh Thi Hong from Da Nang, had a strong desire to make her community cleaner and safer. She always tried her best to make dishwashing liquid from waste.

She shared that there was one time the truck of an environmental company came late a few days, so the waste in her community was not collected, which made serious pollution. Since then, she really wonders ways to treat waste properly. Luckily, she was sent to a conference to the Philippines where she got opportunity to witness a model of producing dishwashing liquid from waste. After coming back, she collected waste to do the experience. However, she failed many times.

Mrs. Hong did not stop working and trying. Finally, she found out the way to make dishwashing liquid from biological waste without adding chemical substances. She became the owner of dishwashing liquid manufacture. Her product was named EM. It was expected that by producing EM, 94.000 kg of organic waste, each month, was treated, bringing great benefit to the environment and Mrs. Hong?s community.

She did not keep the formula of producing dishwashing liquid for her own. She shared it with many other poor people. She helps them to be able to produce dishwashing liquid then sell for money. By this way, hundreds of poor families got jobs and stable income. Many companies offered cooperation with Mrs. Hong to expand the producing scale but she refused. She wants her entrepreneur not only brings benefit to the environment but also helps poor people to get jobs.
