Many of us do have great ideas to protect the environment and promote sustainability but the lack of exposure makes it very difficult for us to turn these ideas into a reality. 

I was very fortunate to represent Bangladesh and my university at Green Brain of the Year 2016 event in Northern Cyprus which aims to promote sustainability and environmental protection among the young generation.

Along with students from Indonesia and India, I was among the university students this year who obtained this unique opportunity.

The event was focused on presenting our ideas to the university and on teaching us more about sustainability. We were given several tours of the university's engineering and scientific equipment which can actually be used to promote development. We also received a tour of the science center, which was filled with interesting scientific tools and experiments.

Now that I am finally back in Dhaka, I can finally conclude that it was an amazing experience and a fantastic learning opportunity. I also ended up making friends for a life time. Thus I encourage you all to participate in international events as it will not only help you learn more but also help you to travel the world.
