![]() ![]() ![]() The father of this brainchild is Le Vu Cuong, director of 1516 Green Interior Architectural Co.,Ltd. He has travelled to many countries to study and get experience. After coming back to Vietnam, he always wanted to use his ability to bring benefits to the poor people in Vietnam and contribute to the national green development. He shared that the total process of carrying out this model was only three months. He was luckily sponsored 10 million VND from a fund so he installed free for the poor citizens. He also added that the operating mechanism is very simple and the facilities are cheap so that the poor can easily buy new one to replace in case that the old ones ran out of order. However, at the first stage, he met many difficulties. It was very difficult to persuade organizations to support his ideas. Besides, he had to try a lot to persuade the poor believe the effectiveness of wind power and asked them for agreement of trial installation. Many people receiving benefits from this project shared that thanks to the wind power, they saved a lot of money. They wish that this model will be expanded and improved so that the hours of using electricity can be longer. Mr. Cuong has brought his project to some competitions and got high prize. He is also in the process of popularizing his project to many other regions in Vietnam to provide free electricity for the poor. Hope that Ambassadors of Tunza Forum will contact with him and expand this project to your countries. Photo credit: Nam Tran |
