  Pramuka Island is one of top 10 national destination for conservation. As one and only national park located in capital city, Pramuka Island has lot of charm to share. Pramuka Island is administrative center of 1000 Island. Well-known for their tagline "Biru, Lautku. Hijau, Pulauku. Pulau Seribu, Surgaku." (Blue, My Ocean. Green, My Island. The 1000 Island, My Paradise) The flagship product of Pramuka Island is spineless-Milkfish, Kukuk Satay, and Breadfruit Chips. In world,, there are 7 species of sea turtle ( Loggerhead (Caretta caretta) , Green turtle (Chelonia mydas) , Leatherback (Dermochelys coriacea), Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata), Kemp's ridley (Lepidochelys kempii), Olive ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea), Flatback (Natator depressa)) , among 6 are exist in Indonesia, and 2 can be found in Pramuka Island ( Hawksbill and Leatherback ). The species we observe in location is Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata). The hawksbill turtle has a shell stacked, with tapered mouth like the beak of a hawk. Physically, the size of the smallest hawksbill turtle species among others, but has the highest reproductivity (150-200 eggs at once spawning). Hawksbill turtle eggs hatched in captivity with a semi-natural way by using a bucket of sand with an incubation period of 50-60 days. The new turtle is said to mature after 30 years of age, with a productive period at the age of 30-50 years. What's sad about Sea Turtle? Literature has mentioned, from around 1000 sea turtles released to sea, only 1 can survive until adult. The baby turtle is often preyed by its predators, however the cruelest predators in nature is HUMAN. Why Human? We pollute the ocean with our debris,most of them : PLASTIC and BALOON. It's okay to celebrate party, but air baloon that you release will lost the gas finally, and fall into ocean. The marine living cannot differ which one is the food which one is our debris. When a sea turtle eat transparent plastic debris which is mistaken as jellyfish, its body will not able to digest and lead to tragic end, death. Can Human eat Plastic and Baloon too? If can't, why we make the marine living should? Another sad facts about Sea turtle, the trade of the eggs, the sea turtles, and the souvenirs they made from sea turtle ARE ILLEGAL.
