Liberia Biodiversity

Liberia, a country that is not known for its wildlife had many species in the forest that helps makes the Ecosystem environmental friendly.

Deer is one of the wildlife that is being endangered badly in Liberia. Our biodiversity as it relates to wildlife, which deer helps our ecosystem. Deer is consumed on a vast scale in Liberia, and in rural areas it often serves as protein source for villagers, but once transported in the city the price increases because of the high level of demand. Deer meat is very much endangered in the forest of Liberia, because it is the source of market for citizens.

I recommend that the hunters or those that killed wildlife in the forest should contact the Environmental Protection Agency for permit on wildlife protection and species that should not be killed, because wildlife too needs to be protected.

Deer is a species that people in Liberia consumed on a regularly basis, and also deer helps our reduction of poverty because there will be plenty of meat to eat in food.
