In Tanzania there a lot of programs that specialized in environmental protection and conservation some of their work is to protect mostly country attracted natural resources. Their work have been seen and determined by Tanzania national environmental management council. Such programs include. Community economic development empowerment, tree planting (forest helps reduce global warming) and fund raising.

For example these programs made possible for some of the country?s natural resources that attracts tourism not to be polluted, a good example is Mountain Kilimanjaro. The protection and conservation led to nurtured mountain and hence triggered to more attractions from the tourists, in which it increases country?s income and make possible to fund for the conservation and protections.

Hence Tanzania Tourist Board is pleased to see that mountain Kilimanjaro has been voted as the leading tourist destination in Africa. The vote will contribute towards the effort of protecting Kilimanjaro Mountain, at same time make a good example to world that conservation and protection of our natural resources is possible.

The award has been granted by the world travel and titled world travel awards. The event hosted at the northern tip of Zanzibar Tanzania and attended by a lot of tourism industry and leaders.

Despite the good outcome showed by these programs, there still some challenges in implementation and performing their works, that caused by illiteracy to some local community and poverty that made people to use firewood's hence environmental destruction and pollution.
