Materials that goes through Recycling and reuse Plastic grocery bags used as small trash can bags. Worn out clothes used as rags to clean floors and windows. Everyone unwrap their gifts very careful so they can reuse the wrapping paper. Shoeboxes used as storage containers for small items. Old toothbrush used to clean hard to reach areas like around the sink, your drains, faucets and grout. Newspaper used for cleaning windows and mirrors. Also it is used to clean up after pets. Newspapers are aslo used for herbarium preparation by biological science students as they absorb moisture from plant sample. Old glass bottles from tomato sauce or honey used as storage container for herbs and spices in the kitchen. It can be also be used as a stationary organizer. Small jars from jams used as candleholders. Old saucers used as soap dishes. Mugs are used as utensil holders. Leftovers are put in freeze and used in fried rice the next day. Somewhere it is given to animals like poultry, duck or to ruminants. Any kind of boxes used as storage containers or organizers. Mineral Water Bottles, Big coke bottles used to store water. People use beverage?s bottles to decorate room, table with flowers. Plastic bags are washed and used to carry other items. Old buckets are used to plant shrubs. Tyres of buses are reused as dustbin or planting bin. What We Don't Cycle: Rapper of junk food and others are generally not reused. They are thrown and main source of plastic waste. Still, Nepal doesn?t have technology to recycle them. Can juices are not still in reuse. Plastic cups are thrown away after drinking water or sipping tea. Broken glasses are thrown uselessly if they can be recycled it would be best. Most of the ointment, solution carrier is not recycled. Most of the drug carrier makes way to dust bin. Medicine bottles are not used after finishing medicine. |
