![]() ![]() The Indian Govt. would adopt a ''Zero Tolerence'' policy towards the waste being discharged into Ganga river. This major step has been taken to reduce the amount of waste in the most famous and holy river of India . The polluted water in this holy river was on rise . SO the government will have to take some strict measures gaisnt it . "There are some issues related to Ganga which are so concerning, tanneries being one of them, in which one has to be maintain zero tolerance. Neither treated nor treated (water). Government is thinking about all these issues and working in the right direction," said the Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave "We should not talk about saving Ganga but we should talk of serving it. Ganga has been there for lakhs of years and will continue to do so. If you use wrong words, your approach will change," he added . He also said that the society very much needs to involve in this issue and do their part in cleaning the river .
