     The second workshop for local community children was held in the first week of August. This time our theme was 'Saving Water'. We showed children the current situation of water problem and its effects on the environment through PPT. Then, presented possible solution to water problem. Our approach here was introducing 'insect food' as substitute for conventional food, which leaves huge carbon footprints and water shortage problem while processing and raising. Diverse insect food was given and tried by children. General reception was 'disgusting', since children were not accustomed to the idea of insect food. The second workshop gave us a further assignment to come up with ideas to make children get familiar with the concept of insect food.
