In my country – Vietnam, people are experiencing terribly hot days. And I guess that many other countries in Asia are also facing the same situation.

The problem I want to put on here is that how the citizens of the countries can avoid the heat appropriately?

More and more houses buy air-conditioners to cool the air in their houses. In my residential area, almost every house has at least one air-conditioner. However, during operating, air-conditioners emit CFC or HFCs into atmosphere. HFCs and CFC are gases which can make the globe warmer as 150-11700 times as CO2 does in a period of 20 years. These gases also deplete the Ozone layer. As consequence, human, due to avoiding the heat, by accident makes the earth hotter and hotter. The temperature they experience this year will be higher than that of the previous year. Besides, using air-conditioner costs a lot of electrical energy. Therefore, during each summer, human must exploit more and more fossil fuels to produce electricity.

So, what is the best way to avoid heat in summer?

Sorry, I have not got many good ideas. Because installing air-conditioners are still the best way to help staff and workers avoid heat in summer. Using fans is absolutely useless because fans just blow more hot air, they cannot create cool air. 

In rural areas, there are many trees which moisture the air and cool the air. But it is really difficult to grow so many of trees in urban areas and in sky-scrapper buildings.

I sincerely hope other Ambassadors will offer me good method or advice to cope with this problem.
