[Free Report] How the change in Saudi Arabia's Carbon Emissions Production Can Help Micronesia

by Baekjin Kim | 18-04-2023 06:04

Recently I have started to research the carbon emissions and the pollution rate in recent years within Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is the country that I am currently living in, and it also has severe weather conditions. To reduce carbon emissions and pollution around the world, and to help Micronesia, small changes should be made, which can be enlarged to a big amount of change.

According to ¡°Our World In Data¡±, Saudi Arabia¡¯s annual carbon emissions were 672.38 million tonnes in 2021. Specifically, those emissions mostly came from Electricity and Heat 263.07 million tonnes, Transportation (139.92 million tonnes), and Industry by 105.76 million tonnes. Electricity and Heat may take up a large portion of the emissions since Saudi Arabia is a country located in a desert.

However, on a local scale(cities, towns, and not national), transportation may be easily reduced by reducing the usage of automobiles. Most of the cities in Saudi Arabia do not have well-sustainable public transportations for people to use frequently. Public transportation ultimately eliminates the operation of cars, which can reduce carbon emissions greatly. Saudi Arabia can also create small roads for bicycles. However, because it is a desert climate country, many people will not prefer to ride bicycles or walk. This could be prevented by the underground passageways, or even small bicycle roads that have shelters. Moreover, the sheltered pathways can have solar panels on the top, which can easily generate energy, and additionally provide the coolness with natural wind, or even small fans. All various changes could be made, which can effect massively.
