 Preparing for a tree planting exercise. The student community can play a role in ensuring that our country Kenya attains the constitutional threshold of a minimum of 10% forest cover. The University of Nairobi has over 80,000 students, if each student planted and natured at least 5 tree seedlings during their studies then this will spur the tree cover in our country as the students come from across the country. Student engagement is critical. |
