by | 19-06-2016 03:47

Waste management is all the activities and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes amongst other things, collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste together with monitoring and regulation.

The difference between waste management and recycling is simple: while recycling pertains to reusable materials, waste management concerns the collection and management of trash.

Recycling Benefits for Turkey

The biggest advantage of recycling for Turkey  is that it helps us to protect our natural resources. The used metals, plastics, paper, glass derivative materials can reduce the efficiency of the dyed land in nature for many years. Recycling will be preserved as nature in terms of reduced raw material costs in all sectors. Besides all increases their energy efficiency. So can this be possible in Turkey?

There will be no millennium glass bottles , plastic and bubble gum in the nature for five years.

►By recycling 1 tons of glass waste we can provide  provided 100 liters of oil to Turkish citizens.

► By recycling  1 tons of waste tire we can provide more than   55% energy saving .

►By recycling the wasted aluminum  the flue gas emissions  will decrease by more than  50%.

1 ton of paper / cardboard can possibly  prevent the cutting of 17 trees by recycling waste.

Due to this advantages for its economy Turkey has organize in May2016 the EurAsia Waste Management Symposium to promote exchanges to contribute the development of solid waste management in the heart of the Asia and Europe.

And only in June  2016 more than 20 big recycling project has been implemented in municipalities as İzmit,ÇORLU, Alanya ,Arsuz,  Edremit Serik, Yunusemre ,Esenyurt ,Melikgazi, Bursa, Çankaya ,Seydişehir ,mamak ,KOCASİNAN and more...

Turkey as a limited quantity of natural resources this is the reason why this state understands better the importance and the urge around waste management.
