We have had great benefits from industrialization. Our life is full of productions, which helps our life to be more comfortable. However, the result of these advantages produce enormous amount of wastes. People have started to be aware of the waste production risks such as composed by plastic, cans, batteries etc. These materials can cause health problems if not disposable and managed in a proper way.

I found the chart regarding the response of the recycling across Latin countries and it shows that Brazil is the leader at 32.5%, which completely agree with "I recycle the paper, bottle etc" among 8 nations in Latin America. Colombia is flowing at 27.6% and the respondents agree with this statement. The third highest country is Peru, 23.3%.

There are many recycling centers to buy back recycling materials by cash or discount foods in the major metropolitan areas of Brazil. In other hands, Argentina is recorded the lowest figure for this chart response.

Interestingly, the chart analyzed by age and sex and the elder citizen show up more responsibility related to the issue. Also, the study related to the breakdown of the response by socio-economy level, recycling behavior is more popular at the lower economic class. This shows the recycling in Latin America perform due to economic incentives coming from rewarding the recycling materials for people with economical vulnerability.

What can we do to promote the practice of recycling? The simplest way is through education, which encourage people to think the basic duty as responsible citizen. In addition to that, enacting the law regarding punishment or reward for the practice of recycling can be a great option.
