The forests in Myanmar and the lives of Wild Animals

            Myanmar, a country with rich forests and trees has become a country to persuade other countries. As all you know, our country is rich in natural resources and all the things and cultures can?t be seen again on other countries. Although we all rich in natural resources , our country has been encountered global warming as we use forests carelessly and without being needed and it can even harm the life of wild animals. So let?s see what is happening in Myanmar.

            I would like to discuss these topics in two portions.

            1. Shan hills and Chin Hills

            2. The Kachin State

1. Shan hills and Chin hills

            Shan State, the largest state in Myanmar, has been covered with one third of the Myanmar forests and due to these forests we can see varieties of animals and herbs and other strange things in these. We also call Shan State as a pine city as pines are commonly grown in Shan State. But, in recent years half of forests are chopped as the population increases and there has been less area for accommodation. Not only for accommodation but also for their business they cut down trees and forests unnecessarily. This makes the life of animals destroy and they no longer stay and their species disappear. This harms not only the lives of wild animals but also harms the environment. In 2008, the species of Asian Elephant had to disappear cause we can?t create a better environment for them.

            In the same way, The Chin State is also comprised with forests and hills which are precious and important for our country. Cause these forests are rich in herbal herbs and other precious flowers and trees. But some of them were destroyed as people sold these for their business. Also, as they cut down lots of trees this state had to suffered from lots of natural disasters and there were a tremendous amount on damage and the life of wild animals have been destroyed.

2. Kachin State

            Kachin, an important state for Myanmar, has got peace in recent years. Kachin is the main blood of our lives cause the Ayeyarwaddy river, the main river in Myanmar starts flowing from Kachin. Kachin is also rich in forests and medicinal herbs but many of them are being destroyed by battles among local people. It is also the place where we can find ice mountain, the largest mountain in Myanmar. But, now Kachin is facing with global warming cause of battles and carelessly using trees and forests. So, this even destroys the species of birds, butterflies and even wild lives.

            So what did we decide? The answer is so simply. We should recover forests by planting the trees and by reducing the rate of using forests. But these can?t affect on people cause they only say ?Time to change? but they don?t do like they say and they can?t change their thoughts and mind. So, As we say ?time to change?? let?s change our opportunities towards the environment.
