 Beautify Malawi Trust also shortly known as BEAM is a project that was founded in the year 2015 by the first lady of Malawi Dr madame Getrude Mutharika. Basically it's core purpose as the name of the Trust suggests is to beautify Malawi by avoiding littering around and also replacing the beauty and nature that has been lost. So this trusts is doing a lot of projects with different groups of people, including though not limited to farmers, women, girls as well as youths at large. I and other students are also involved in this trust, we did participate in a tree planting exercise that took place in one of the largest plateaus in Malawi as it was slowly losing its natural beauty due to deforestation, so this trust helped us in sourcing tree seedlings as well as mobilizing us students to replace the lost glory of our beautiful plateau. |
