   On Saturday, February 20, I was among the people who attended the Young African Leadership Initiative (NETWORK 'PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCEMENT SERIES' WITH FELA DUROTOYE) hosted by Elder David Kehinde Samuel and his team. I was amazed and inspired by what young Africans are doing, impacting lives, empowering each other even though there is not going to be remuneration for them. As a YALI alumnus, I was told to give a speech. When I reached the podium, I was trapped in nostalgia seeing the passion and alacrity the youths possessed yet no empowerment from the government. In the tranquil hall, I gave my own piece of advice ending with "As youths, we should never relinquish in our struggle to make a better world and always work as a team.". Indeed, our future is going to be bright if we never relinquish. Long Live Africa! Long Live Our World!! |
