For this year, the official ceremony was held in the wilaya of Skikda,in the wetland complex "Guerbes Sanhadja", classified in Ramsar sites of international importance, in the presence of the partners of the project "development of an integrated management plan for the complex of wetlands Guerbes Sanhadja" (UNDP program and the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature Conservation).

The event included :

- A visit to Al-Haj Taher Lake

- Release of  "Ferruginous duck"

- Presentation of the complex of "Guerbes Sanhadja" Skikda

- Visit the exhibition of complex products

- Inauguration of the CEESP (Centre for environmental education and awareness for the public) of Guerbes

- Presentation of the project to develop the integrated management plan for the complex

-Drawing contest for schoolchildren and granting gifts to the winners
