          Environmental protection is our collective responsibility.Hence,creating awareness among masses about the ongoing degradation becomes all the more important. On 16th January,2016 - As the environmental ambassador to UAE,I conducted an environmental awareness session at the The Gavels Club,a part of Toastmasters International.It is a club to enhance one's public speaking and communication skills.It is attended by children of all ages and has various branches across the globe.I am also the President of the club. I thought the best way to begin new year would be to create awareness among my club mates because the youth have the inherent ability to bring about positive changes in the society.I spoke about how humans are becoming a threat to the planet by wasting its natural resources and devastating it.I also encouraged them to take up a resolution for the new year-That they will REDUCE,REUSE and RECYCLE.I discussed some simple tips with them that they can implement in their daily lives to conserve natural resources. I introduced Tunza Eco Generation to them as an excellent environment networking platform for the children and youth.I then distributed promotional goods among them and encouraged them to join Eco Generation.They were patients listeners and seemed excited to join Tunza Eco Generation. I would like to thank my mentor Mr.Sajid for making this event possible.
