Culture of Nepal is rich and unique and it is the identity of Nepalese people all over the world. Cultural heritage are evolved over the centuries continuously handling with the sense of refinement from generation to generation. The multi dimensional heritages of Nepal encompasses various ethnic group ,tribes and racial group with their own , peculiar cultural practice like the celebration of dance with different types of musical instruments , art craft , folklores folktales ,languages ,religions, literature , philosophy , festival as well. Nepali culture represents a fusion of Indo - Aryan and Tibeto-Mangolian influences having unique thinking and views upon the life. The diversity in Nepal in Nepal, in terms of ethnicity again makes room for various sets of customs .We worship cow as the symbol of the goddess Laxmi. Nepalese people believe that our life is consist of "Panchamahabhautic tatyo" i.e. air , water, earth, fire, and space .Many things are judged in terms of pure and impure. As dung of cow is considered to be pure and secondary eaten things as impure .Nepalese people prefer to traditional marriage, system of arrange marriage .They like to live in joint family .Nepal is the land of Buddha and it is always purified by holy rivers Bagmati, Narayani, Gandaki, Kamala and other holy rivers .Buddha is worshipped by all the Nepalese people .Therefore Nepal is considered to be the land of multi-religious, multi-ethnic nation. Kathmandu is the land of temple and home of gods and goddess .Pashupatinath, temple of lord Shiva, Patan mandir, temple of lord Krishna, Lalitpur Durbar Square, Buddha stupa, Dakshinkali and many religious and holy temples are built with different styles like pagado style, shikhar style. Many art and sculpture are incarved in them. Like Kathmandu the places Lumbini, Devghat, Barahachhetra also bear culture importance and more respective holy places from where people can wash up their sins and their departed soul can enter to heaven after death. Tandava dance, stick dance, dhan dance and different types of songs like jhyaure songs, bhajans, lok dohore, shows our diversity. Festivals Dashain , Tihar ,Holi ,Sankranti that we celebrate with pomp and joy add color to our life?s .Special dishes are popular for special festivals like in Aasar fifteen people enjoy dahi chuira ,Shrawan fifteen with rice pudding , Dashain with meat and beaten rice . We live in a small country Nepal but it is a holy land of purity and people are of big hearts .We welcome our guest in country with full respect, bowing our head, joining our hands and smile in face .Culture is not the things to boast about, it is behavior and habit. The aroma of the Nepalese behavior and culture is spread all over the world .
