|BRAZIL| The Sustainable Bus Stop

Florianópolis City located in south of Brazil will establish bus stop with solar energy and also with a green roof  in some areas.  The bus stop also has a technology of rainwater storing and it can make the service of irrigation of the plants or grass.

While passengers will be waiting to catch the bus, they shall be able to recharge their mobile phones. There is a solar plaque which will generate energy in the roof of the bus stop.

The idea was established by the landscape core of the Commerce and Industry Association of Florianópolis City. They intended to offer to citizens more confort while waiting a bus. Nevertheless, in a sustainable way.

Most of the materials used to build up the sustainable bus stop come from recyclable materials. The project already exist in some cities of Germany and also New York city in U.S.
