Green Globe volunteered in the Clean - UP the World Campaign organized by Dubai Municipality on 27^th November, 2015. The sun was scorching on the early weekend morning, but that did not bar the young members of Green Globe in participating in the event.

Every Dubai resident sends 2.8 kilograms of waste to the landfill every day. This can number can be significantly changed if each one of us starts segregating right from our backyard. 

Daily thousands of municipality workers toil day and night to keep the city clean. 

The event saw nearly ten thousand volunteers gathering to show their support in awareness including about 50 Green Globe members.

The event took place in an barren area nearby Miracle Garden, Dubai.

Our volunteers participated in the event with great vigor and enthusiasm cleaning the entire place. At the end of the event I gave an Eco pep talk to my members. I enlightened them on various Environmental issues, resources wastage and steps we can take to curb them.

Tunza Eco Generation is one of best steps we can take to do our part for the environment. And something like this should be popularized so that everyone can reap its benefits.

I introduced everyone to Tunza Eco Generation and its ventures. I also presented Tunza Eco-Generation's promotional goods to all members. I distributed leaflets and post-it?s to them. This boosted their enthusiasm to join Tunza. 

 In all it was a day spent well for a good cause and filled us with lot of experiences.
