The role of nature in the life of human society. For man, nature is the environment of life and the source of existence.

The goal of preservation is to safeguard nature from human interference. It emerged during the early twentieth century environmental movement. Wildlife Preservation's goal is to save animal species that are on the verge of extinction by providing direct care. Wildlife can be saved by creating protected areas such as national parks and wildlife sanctuaries to safeguard animals in their natural habitat. Endangered and vulnerable species can be kept in captivity and bred in locations like zoos to expand their population.

There are 218 national parks, reserves and reserves in Russia. Their number is growing every year. Visiting protected areas is allowed only in national parks, where a special recreational zone is allocated for this. In this zone, sites for setting up tents are being set up, small houses are being built, ecological paths are being laid, and places for fishing are marked.
