![]() The Embrapa (Brazilian Company for Research in Agriculture and Livestock), recently developed a burguer made by the cashew component which was supposed to be discarted. In other words, they reused cashew rest to make a burguer. There is a lot of kinds of vegetarian burguers such as made by carrot, beet and eggs. But cashew burguer is innovative. Usually, the juice factories throw out the cashew's fiber during its production. However, Embrapa developed a way to reuse it. The main souce of the burguer is the cashew fiber. The idea is to make it successful in the society. They mix up soy with the cashew fiber. Nevertheless, it is also possible to mix with beans. The great news is that this burguer has half of calories when comparing to the traditional one. SOURCE: Eco Desenvolvimento |
