Currently, Japan has effort to realize the Low Carbon Society. By developing its technology, Japan is pressing the number of carbon production. Such as by being the largest solar cells producer in the World, using high end air conditioner which is the highest level energy efficiency in the World, having highest share of public transport in the world, and so on. While reducing national carbon production, Japan also try to support other countries effort by dissemination of technology, conducting partnership called The Cool Earth Partnership, and establishing of multilateral fund.

I remember on my class, at that time, my lecturer said about some simple things that I didn't know it is one of the way to realize low carbon society. He said that just by using different type of window glass, the produced carbon will be also different. I thought that there is no relationship between window glass to the carbon production, but it is true. Using special window glass that I don't know what kind of glass is this can protect the heat loss in the winter, so the heater usage can be reduced and now I got the connection energy can be reduced as well. And going to the global level, it can mitigate climate change though. I was surprised, Japan thinks everything in detail and integrates many things into one formula for realizing Low carbon society.

So, what we can do? We are not stakeholders, we could not make a policy yet. So, we can start realizing carbon society from the lowest level. We can choose local vegetables to reduce energy for food distribution, we can convert bulb to be low-energy bulb, using public transportation, and so on. Because the aim is low carbon society is for society, not only for low carbon person, so lets share and promote this low carbon society to our families, friends, relatives, and so on. Living coexist with the nature is all what we want. Because we are living in the same home, called Earth.
