Green Deal Portal launched

As reported earlier, The Green Deal Dubai Project was successfully launched on 27-Oct-15 by The Dubai Economic Department, in partnership with the Dubai Green Economy Partnership.

As I mentioned before, this platform / web portal will help households to shop for eco-friendly technologies such as solar panel kits, solar water heaters, water savers. Considering economies of scale the cost will be much lower as the target customers are more & the authorities have good bargains in place.

I surfed the portal & found it informative. The buying option is yet to function but the site seem to be full of green deals. They promise for free shipping for purchases over AED300 {US$ 82}

Besides there are attractive finance options also available for credit card purchases.

The initiative of Dubai Crown prince is very effective green partnership. I hope for its success so that the cost of Green products becomes affordable & their penetration becomes deeper in UAE & elsewhere as well.
