   SEPTEMBER 19-Had a clean up event in our community.It was a part of Clean up Nepal campiagn that aims to bring desired positive change in the attitude of people by encouraging them to reduce unwanted waste, thus, resulting in the cleaner streets and communities..The event was conducted nation wide in different sites.In my area, YCSA was the org to lead the event.On the very day.the event commenced at right 730 am along with the participation of the local residents and the students of paklihawa campus..The active participants were gathered in front of the camus gate where the clean up kits were distributed..the we all followed our route as mentioned earlier day..Most of the waste collected were the wrappers of tobacco and chocklates..the other wastes included the pastic plates, papers, bottels ,piece of cloth etc,,Everybody performed their duty with full dedication..some swept the road while some were bg cutting the long weed grasses on the roadside still while some were bg collecting the wrappers and the bottels.,Regardless the hot climate, everybody enjoyed the event.Wr were successful to collect around 350 kg of decomposable waste and 150 kg of undecomposable waste..An handed to the municipality..With the active participation of every individuals the event ended up with biscuit and water... |
