![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I want to share with you one of the newest iteration in solar energy trend –the invention of Solar Paper. Yes , super thin , foldable solar paper - a solar charging that fits between the pages of a book and which can charge a smart phone in 2.5 hours about the same time as a conventional wall charger.
So far the size and volume of solar panels have been a major obstacle on the road to adopting renewable energy. Heavy, rigid, large solar chargers don't get carried around—leaving people to rely on less-eco-friendly batteries for their portable power. But solar paper solves that problem. Solar Paper's size and weight keep clean energy convenient, and will likely lead to more people adopting the power. Solar Paper can charge any device that uses a USB connection, including rechargeable batteries, cameras, and portable game consoles. Additional panels can be added to take on the task of charging tablets or laptops and all can be magnetically folded together for easy storage. Possibly the best part about this innovation is that the panels are so lightweight, they can be draped onto hikers' or bikers' backpacks and taken along for the ride as they charge. Each panel comes in at around 4.5 ounces. Additionally, have no fear about passing clouds requiring a manual reset on the device. There is a tool built in that will automatically restart charging once in the sun again. A charger on the go using the sun i.e. Solar paper's slim shape fits right in the middle of a notebook with the function to fold with the bind. Within 2.5 hours a dead IPhone or an Android phone will fully charge. A readout on the top of the panel shows users how much energy the panel is taking in at any given moment, and magnets on the side connect additional panels or set the panel up in optimum position. Isn't it exciting? Source : http://www.psfk.com/2015/08/solar-paper-solar-energy-ultra-thin-solar-panels.html |
