Various Lions Clubs in Nepal are following a project with theme "GO GREEN". They have been continuously conducting Tree Plantation Program every saturday with banner "Every Saturday Plantation Day".

Lions International is an International Service organization which encompasses millions of members around the globe. Under the flag of Lionism, Nepal resembles Multiple Lions District 325 which includes four District 325 A1, 325 A2, 325 B1, 325 B2. Lions District 325 B2 is one of the District Under Multiple District. 

Lion D.K Dhungana as Governer of Lions District 325 B2 has come up with a project named "GO GREEN". Under this project, various Lions Club from various places of Nepal conducted plantation program on saturdays of the month august to make this theme a success. In this regard, five lions club of Chitwan namely Lions Club of Chitwan Rhino City, Lions Club of Ratnanagar Mid Nepal, Lions Club of  Bhandara Chitwan, Lions Club of Ratnanagar Peace and Lions Club of Ratnanagar Shantichowk continued the project from 1st August. Each Saturday they have made plantation program in different places. Recently on 29th August, 7th Saturday was celebrated as Plantation Day. 

This project has been guided by Governer Lion D.K Dhungana as a theme to protect and conserve the environment. Trees play a vital role in our living eco-system. Hence, realizing the importance of greenery, ecology and environment this project has been moving ahead and above mentioned different Lions Clubs under District 325 B2 are celebrating Every Saturday Plantation Day under the theme "GO GREEN" since August 1.
