A few months ago, I attended a gathering held by farming community. By talking and having a light conversation, they told people how nice to plant tree was. People usually relieve their stress by having pets, but planting and caring plants are stress reduction too.

The community members were not limited to the students. Some of them were office workers, entrepreneurs, mothers. We learned from each other because they welcomed to share their experiences about plantation and farming.

In the end of gathering, a senior members brought many seeds. There were cherry tomato, some vegetables and some fruits (I have forgotten, sorry). I got corn, cherry tomato. We were encouraged by her to plant at home and even there was an idea to make a competition to decide who the best farmer was.

I am very happy with those people. They are very warm and always share their knowledge. And the encouragement I got is a motivation to love the nature more. Being with nature is very relaxing. Believe or not, if we plant a tree and we often talk to it, it will grow beautifully. Because some people believe that all plants can understand human feeling around them. Anyway, It is just a myth, do not take it too much :).
