![]() Everyone wants change, everyone wants to see change but everyone cannot promote change nor can everyone effectuate change. The reality of life is only manifested in our thoughts but with what life and nature presents to us as a result of our individual actions towards nature. The TUNZA Eco-generation family has been able to trail blaze that agenda and ensure that some people can help effectuate change in a multiplicity of ways through their ever different orientations and backgrounds. Youth and not just youth but energetic youths throughout the world have always been the driving force of change in society. Though young, small and emerging, we are small but we are mighty. I have grown to realize that professionalism counts for emerging youths around us and with that I am forever grateful to the TUNZA Eco-generation family. When doors close around you, you think your end is inevitable but if you really open your eyes you realized that we are deprived of lesser opportunities to project us to greater opportunities. Climate change is always an item on every agenda on the international platform, at symposiums, forums, conferences, summits it is either environmental sustainability or climate change or global warming. What do we do in the midst of these unravelling controversies? How do we adapt to changes in the ecosystem? Do we adapt to the changes in the conditions of our human habitat? Or do we live with global warming and climate change as a way of life? Do we propose planting trees and refuse to plant trees as we have always done in the past? Do we commit billions of dollars verbally to help in the adaptation to climate change and refuse to live up to our commitments as have always been the case with the world super powers? Do we also refuse to take blame for polluting our atmosphere and use our global influence to force developing nations to adapt measures when they didn?t cause the problem? Do you preserve your forest and invest in the cutting down of African trees? Do you save your natural resources and rather invest in the extraction of countries with more environmental vulnerabilities? Do we continue to host all the international climate change events out of Africa and still want Africa to commit fully in the implementation of these agreements? IT STARTS WITH YOU, IT STARTS WITH ME, AND IT STARTS WITH ALL OF US |
