Environmental Houses in Algeria

by | 12-08-2015 02:06

The "environmental houses" are places of information and awareness of environmental issues primarily target young audiences. Their construction in the country is regulated by the Environmental Training National Conservatory (CNFE). Since 2006, environmental houses opened their doors in almost every Algerian town like Annaba, Batna, Bir El Ater, Tébessa, Bouira, Chlef, Relizane, El Taref, Tindouf, Djelfa, Laghouat, Médéa ,Naâma, Tipaza ...etc

Environmental
House aims to answer questions related to the local environment. This grassroots approach is framed by the national training environment Conservatory (CNFE), commissioned by the supervisory ministry to develop environmental Houses across the country. The program is intended above all to the young generation which holds the keys to a green future. Schools, youth clubs, scouts and other related associations and youth are the first audience.
The team of educators led by a project manager organizes activities such as school gardening, theatrical entertainment, crafts, green clubs, etc.

We take the house of environment of Tipaza province as a good exemple ,

it have been involved in the opening of the summer season, which embraced the youth camp of Tipaza province and series of interactive creative workshops to children in an atmosphere of learning .The workshops were:

- A training session about the coast
- Re-training workshop
- Gardening Workshop
- Workshop of environmental Games
- Workshop on Knowledge about Posidonia Oceanica
