I was watching TED video of Al Gore ( former Vice President of USA and fervent climate activist) titled ?Averting the Climate Crisis? where he was deciphering ?Climate Change Crisis? in lucid language and sharing cools tips. As always, he was giving mesmerizing speech with humor that added flavor to already an awesome video. The speech was convincing enough to take action even for people who were reluctant to accept Climate Change. Actor of 'An Inconvienent Truth' ( which i am trying to search in internet and local market), he shared in the video about actions that we can take like buying of the hybrids cars, making eco friendly building, sharing the knowledge of the climate change and encourgaing others as well to take part in it. Here's the list of some cool tips he shared on the TED conference: 1. Buy green electricity 2. Be green consumer. Buy energy efficient appliances 3. Live carbon neutral life. Reduce and then offset the rest. 4. Find more about green consumer in climatecrisis.net 5. Making the business carbon neutral 6. Integrate climate solutions into all our innovations on TED ie technology, Entertainment or Design and Architecture community. 7. Invest Sustain-ably on the companies which are part of solution Rest tips I will leave for the videos. I admire his idea of involving designers or marketers/ advertiser as we want to reach out to larger audience not just the scientist community. I was glad to see such a powerful person with great influence indulging himself in the service of nature and becoming minion of environment. If we have more of such global leaders and celebraties (like all time favorite Leonardo DiCaprpio) who are at the helm of power and/or have millions of fan following, certainly current climate crisis will take huge U-turn. We handover more nurturing environment to coming generation. Saying this, the whole planet belongs to us. Let's not get deflected away our genuine desire to solve climate crisis issues rather stride from where we are. Yes together we can. We must. We need to. Check these interesting link to calculate your footprints. ( I will write my upcoming report on it) Three Cheers to #planeeters
