     The world faces the challenge to ecologically be sustained in this era. Brazil is part of the nations that is working hard to figure out sustainable ways for the planet. Coca-Cola is a worldwide company and recently I have a happy news that they are developing a technology that aims to replace bottles which are made of petroleum source to bottles to try to mix it with a plant source as well. As people know, the consumption of Cola is significant. Developing the technology of eco-friendly bottle will play an important role to contribute to save an environment. That is a very sustainable way to decrease fossil needs or sources that humans still require. According to Watson (2012), the bottle is available in 24 coutries and they acquire 100% capacity for being recyclable. It has up to 30% of plant base. Actually the first prototype was introduced to the world in 2009. However, the technology is getting in fact spreaded around the world nowadays. Brazil is substantially cooperating with the sustaible idea. The country is providing a huge amount of land for the growing of biomass source. Now we ask: What is the biomass plant? The one is SUGAR CANE! Brazil are processing to make BOTTLE with Sugar cane! The PlantBottle will give several benefits to the world and to citizens. The most significant benefit is that it shall decrease a lot greenhouse gas emissions, which is (CO2). Hopefully, the technology will be spread to all countries in the world and Brazil will support the idea providing sources for a long time. |
