![]() ![]() UAE's incessant efforts towards protection and preservation of the environment for posterity and its leaders' actions on implementation of green projects and initiatives to involve all sectors of society have at last borne fruits of success. Recently, the Ministry of Environment and Water in the UAE has won the Best Call Centre Project - GCC Region category from the International Quality and Productivity Centre, IQPC. The UAE Ministry of Environment and Water called upon all individuals, institutions and corporates in the environment and wildlife sector to take part in the Gulf Cooperation Council Award for the Environment and Wildlife. The award targets to encourage individuals and collective initiatives undertaken to provide protection to the environment, wildlife and biodiversity in regions inspiring innovation and creativity to contribute towards sustainable development while disseminating awareness among GCC nations. The GCC Secretariat-General announced the inception of Gulf Cooperation Council Award for the Environment and Wildlife 2015. The award also aims to play an effective and vital role in the preservation of nature and conservation of natural resources and at the same time motivate society in the Gulf regions to foster a more caring attitude towards the regional environment.
