First of all, thanks "Tunza EcoGeneration" for celebrating our engagement! Thanks to this organization, we can grow our love with love for environment! We wish traveling to commemorate our day but unfortunately we do not have time. Instead, I would like to introduce the information about Brazil Ecotravel, which could be so attractive for our eco ambassadors!

There is widespread concern that developing tourist industry only could have a negative effect on environment. However, here is a sustainable practice in tourism industry, which is supported by the Ministry of the Environment and has partnership with the Ministry of Tourism

Some travel agents that have above mission follow the specific environmental code of ethics as a guideline. This will be the concepts of sustainable tourism and informs traveler to take responsibility. To be short, some of the lists include tourism should have a positive effect on local communities, be managed in a sustainable way, protect the wildlife and habitats and dont use them commercially. This campaign is in partnership with the United Nations Environment Program (Unep) as well.

In fact, some guesthouses are chosen as a proper accommodation to adopt those guidelines. They have the energy-rationing system of natural ventilation and sauna with operating wood etc, which are aligned with the sustainable practices. In particular, during preparing the World Cup and Confederations Cup, Brazil had focused on spreading the concept of the principles of sustainable tourism.

The Project manager of the Office of the Secretary of Extraction and Sustainable Rural Development (SEDR) of the Ministry of the Environment recommend that tourists can choose the accommodations that have an efficient appliances, rational use of energy and water and guide and drivers from local communities. Furthermore, there is a suggestion to find the conservation unit that allows travelers to visit.

How wonderful it could be if we can walk, play and enjoy by no harming our precious environment! I believe this effort will promote the awareness of environmentally responsible travel and help protect the Brazil s natural resources and benefit local communities. Our little concern will make our environment a brighter one.
