Since June 5^th was a Friday (weekend in UAE), the shopping malls were thronging with visitors.. I visited the food court of a large mall in the city which was just as jam-packed as the mall. I attempted to target as many families and individuals as possible.

 I gave out questionnaires which basically tried to test their knowledge about various local food programs/initiatives and at the same instill in them a sense of cautiousness while consuming food articles.

While they answered the questions in the questionnaire,  I ensured I gave each of them my business card and a brochure of the Tunza Eco-gen platform.  I recorded the results of the survey in the pie charts given below.

I inferred  that most people believe that they waste a minuscule amount of food and are not aware of local food management organisations. However, a considerable percentage of them are aware of the food wastage problem and are willing to take up initiative to solve the problem.
