After publishing the community reports, Gulf News editorial board considers all the reports published in a month as per set parameters & select three winners. The parameter or topic for last month of April 2015 was: Community Reports are a strong case for civil consciousness. Based upon this topic I was adjudged as the Second place winner. The Gulf news editor has given a comment for me that I will cherish for life. It said Young people like him are an asset to society and the community. The topic for my community report was: Pick and drop used books to help yourself go green. They remarked that It covered an excellent initiative by a student to recycle school books and prevent wastage. And the manner in which he did it was simple and effective. Waste not, want not. Simple initiatives makes big difference in the society. The platform of Tunza Eco-Generation is so unique that we can share our achievements at global level with a bunch of hand fully selected responsible ambassadors. They have the power to initiate similar initiatives & make recycling a big success. Sharing books is an excellent idea that saves the paper & promotes friendship & cordial relations in society. Unknown strangers may become your friends once you share your unwanted but good condition books with them.
