Hi everyone,

This year on Earth Day, I along with my friends partnered with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and volunteered for the 60+ Earth Hour International Event conducted in Dubai. Over there, I distributed the shirts and flyers and created attentiveness towards the terminating condition of mother earth among masses of people. I even took part in the parade during which the lights of the whole city were turned off. Except the lights that we had on our caps! There was even a candle lighting ceremony. The sight was striking and astounding. It was gratifying to know that people had actually hinged with us for this program. After the whole day volunteering, I was delighted and content. I was glad that I had done my bit in improving the current ailment of earth.
