Hairy Caterpillar taking over the Seychelles

Seychelles is currently and has been in a bad situation for months now. These small but toxic hairy caterpillars has invaded the main island, Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.

These caterpillar leaves us with itchy rash when their hair comes into contact with our skin. They love our "Bodanmyen" trees, which is usually found near the beach. But of course, this isn't the only tree they like.

The caterpillars have been found at residents and public schools. The authorities has been trying their best to keep these caterpillar population under control. But what they are failing to let us is know is, what does the caterpillar develops into after that? No picture has been shown and Seychellois are getting worried.

Luckily, they are not poisonous and the rash are cured just by drinking antibiotics prescribed by the doctor of course.
