For the Eight Consecutive year, Dubai has planned to observe Earth Hour. I am fortunate to observe, Participate & Volunteer in this event for the past 5 years. [I have put up an event information on events page as well]. Other emirates like Abu Dhabi & Sharjah also observe this event.

This is symbolic in nature. We switch off non-essential lights for One hour to show our solidarity towards conservation & sustainability. I believe that for our generation EVERY hour is Earth Hour on every day, day after day. We must save & conserve energy as must as possible. There are no targets to be set or deadlines to met. Save & conserve energy as much as you can.

This year the message is go beyond. Turn off your taps as well. As water production & distribution also consumes energy.

As much as we can serve our Mother Earth it is beneficial & Dear Readers, we will be benefitted with this action. As the saved energy will be used by us I future.

Therefore, in order to secure our future save & conserve Energy. Observe Earth Hour on 28-Mar-2015 along with 7,000 cities in 162 countries around the world.
