The summit, which is expected to attract 150 participants, will "explore and generate ideas for a consistent vision and collaborative pathway towards a sustainable future," as quoted by Conference Chief Executive Officer, Ionna Eliot.

The participants hail from various backgrounds, including those of renewable energy, academia, the public sector and representatives of real estate, construction and infrastructure companies. The platform provides an opportunity for planners and developers to share ideas on how to "reduce resource consumption of new and existing cities, but at the same time make them more resilient in the face of climate change, so that they are healthier and more productive places to live and work."(Inputs from Emirates news agency)
