Recently I had visited Gunde, Khaste, Neureni, Dipang, Begnas and Phewa Lake. The first four lakes had been covered with different weeds and grasses which had made them ugly in look also people had extended their paddy field up to the lake in Khaste lake .Begnas and Phewa are most visited wetlands and hence peoples influence can be seen most in these lakes. These lakes are suffering from pollution also water hyacinth is also major problem in Phewa lake.
