We are members of the association of  geography students of the University of Buea ,Cameroon and are motto is centre on the protection of mother Earth.

The climate of Cameroon is fast changing and people are very less concern and some consider the science of global warming as a theory and not a fact.

But it is evident, the climate is truly changing and rainfall is becoming unreliable, floods are common more common in the country, portable water crisis everywhere and depletion of water resources.

What can we do against climate change? As  intellectuals our concern is to to change the mentality of the people on this subject and this is through a massive campaign especially at the grassroots area.

As an association we decided to visit rich environmental touristic site, the mungo corridor, the  Mt kupe Manugube  a volcanic amphitheater, an  agricultural  heaven and promising blueprint to the development of our country. Here, we could reflect ,talk and deliberate how we could be change makers in country especially in influencing and our people in taking responsibility in protecting our environment.

we all concluded that our association would act as a laudable initiative in collaboration with stakeholders and international organizing like Tunza  to help the people see the climate crisis as a reality.

We ended by chanting the slogan ?the climate crisis is real and we must do something to solve it?, urging all members to make global warming the number one topic of discussion.
