Hello to all Ambassadors and warms  greetings from Cameroon. It was a cold and dusty Monday morning in the  Western Grassland of Bamenda,Cameroon and I had an appointment to meet with the principle and later final year students of Government Bilingual  High school NSONGWA.It  was a  presentation titled, CLIMATE AND YOUR IMMEDIATE EVIRONMENTTESTIMONY OF EXPERIENCES AND HOW TO ADAPT TAKE ACTION.                                                                                                                    I started by introducing myself and  unveiling  the objectives  and opportunities of Tunza and telling them  about this wonderful environmental networking platform  to empower children and youths about their environment, problems affecting it and how they can make their voices heard.

The hall was crowded with bright faces and young minds ready to air their  minds  on what has change over the years in their local communities and how they were adapting to this change and the package TUNZA has for them to better this.

I did a 30minutes interactive talk on  on global environmentalism ,climate change and our immediate environment with evidence on the variability of rainfall and scarcity of water resources which were fast drying up. We also deliberated on how this uncertainty in rainfall affect rain fed agriculture here leading to poor harvest.

The conversation was interesting and double coined for most of them have been conscious and living historians of how this change has affected their lives.

The youths were eager and interested to participate in the activities of Tunza  to create impact in their environment as change makers which I link them to website and share some few souvenirs  to active participants..

This imitative was one of its kind, after the interactive talk there was series of questions and answers which help me realized how this youths perceived their environment.

At, the end the staffs said this initiative could be more sustainable if a Club is created and follow up in this institution and I assured them that when reporting I  will made it know  to Tunza.I   would like Tunza to know I face challenges in managing clubs created last year .
